Default No Catch And Release (JUST THIS ONCE!)

Hey folks! Just wanted to let you know that I'm not going to catch and release just this one time...

Our daughter Tess was born Sunday night.

And while at 8lbs 5 ozs she did'nt break any state records, I am going to apply for a trophy certificate - not for me but for my wife!

Hope all is well with everyone!
Thank God for my wife, the midge nymph and those hapless Iowa Hawkeyes!

It's almost funny but when my son was born (23 1/2 years ago now), I had the exact same thoughts about this one being a keeper !!!!! I guess being fly fishermen, we just can't help relating important events in our lives back to our passion for fishing!!!

Tess sure does look like her Dad! Congratulations!!!!

    Jim,

Great news and congratulations! I'm delighted for both you and your wife. Even though this means your fishing at BV will be more challenging and less frequent, I do expect you to have a current photo the next time our path cross.

Again best wishes to you and mom. By the way, got a name yet?

Should have read the post more carfully! Tess is a great name!

Hey Jim - Congratulations, "man what a catch!" Had to show the picture to the wife, we both think she's beautiful. I usually joke and say; "I wonder who the dad is," but wouldn't work in this case, there is no question!

    Thanks for sharing!
