I use a Sony myself but a friend uses a Cannon. If I had it to do again, I would get digital. Be sure to set your camera up loolong over the sholder of the tier. Your audiance will then see on the screen what the tier sees. Use a small TV for the tier to keep track of what he is doing in addition to using a large screen for the audiance. Use a 1X close-up filter on your camera to get in close. Use manual focus on the camera so the camera won't hunt as the tiers hands get into the picture. Use a daylite correct light for the tier.
