Thread: Staying Alive

    Cool Staying Alive

Actually I'm better than that - improving and not nearly the pain level I had with the previous surgery. Doc says I'm healing nicely, but insists on my staying in the sling for another four weeks. NO computer time he says....so much for that one.

I do need to get a new issue up - for one reason, we are having our Annual Salmon and Steelhead Tying Contest again, and I need to get the rules and dates up for that one.
The rules are basically the same as previous contests, so get planning!

Really appreciate the email, cards, and phone calls folks. It has been a tough go with two surgeries, and your thoughtfulness has helped.

    Hugs all, stay tuned!

    Deanna!
WONDERFUL, to hear from you, fist hand!! All the reports, we've received thus far, from JC, have of course contained MORE information about "How HE'S being mistreated" and how he's "Not slept since the surgery, because of doing ALL the housework AND all the laundry AND all the cooking.............. you get the idea!?!
Seriously, it's GREAT that you felt well enough to type your own, short message but if the doc says to "STAY OFF THE POOTER", then please listen to him!
There's NO fly tying contest or swap, whatever that is WORTH you going against doctor's orders, and perhaps giving yourself a setback, at this stage of the game!
Please, just take is easy and do as you doctor tells you!
We're all pulling for you, so get well quickly!

Glad to hear you are ok, and getting better. Take it slow and continue to get much better. I am sure everyone hear is not in to much of a hurry for a new issue. It is better to wait and be sure you are healthy enough. My prayers still go up for you. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

    Deanna;
Don't worry about us please! We want you to recover. My time spent with you and Jim at the Michigan Fish-In's have been the high points of my life as a retired Trout Bum!
You should be able to go head to head with me this year for the distance cast as I will be working on my double haul! I'll lose of course, but it will be fun.
    All my love

Glad to hear your doing great this go around. I don't want to be a pill, but please do as the doctor asked.

"Staying Alive"; jeez and I thought this was a Bee Gees thread...

    Whether you're a brother
    Or whether you're a mother,
    You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
    Feel the city breakin'
    And ev'rybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
    Ah, ha, ha, ha,
    Stayin' alive.
    Stayin' alive.
    Ah, ha, ha, ha,
    Stayin' alive.

    Get well soon!
