Default St. Croix Premier 8'6" 5wt?

Anyone fish with this rod? Would you consider it on the faster side? I might love slower action rods too much to love this rod...wondering why it is collecting dust in my basement right now.

    cabin fever indeed,

I would consider that rod to be a moderate action graphite fly rod, not slow and certainly faster than any fiberglass rods that I have cast. I cast it on the water when they first came out and found that I really liked it, though I prefer faster rods. It was pleasant, and like any good rod (in my opinion) didn't get in the way. I have a 6wt and 4wt Premier that, both of which I find similar to my older Sage Discovery rods.
