Thread: Material Savings Tip

    Default Material Savings Tip

When I use several strands of Flashabou or Krystal Flash, I cut the full length, tie it in, and then trim when it's on the hook. This usually results in numerous partial strands that get lost in the shuffle.

Take the left over ends, even them up and dab a bit of Krazy glue on and you end up with no waste.

Another way to use scraps like that, Pick them up when they fall and toss them into a cup.

Later on grab your scissors after a tying session and chop up that flashabou or krystal flash and mix it with some New dubbing from a hares mask! Easy sparkling hares ear dubbing!( or any dubbing you want to sparkle.)
