    Smile Free Flies

How to qualify: Be a non-tyer. Like to fish for warm waterfish. Hopefully have a young-un to share with and last but not least a good sense of humor as some of these creations will cause you to shake your head.

What you get: Approximately 50 flies most of which are new. Most are a fig newton of my imagination and not found in any self respecting fly shop. Most are tied on size 8 to 12 Mustad hooks and are not dry flies.

What I get: More room in my boxes so I can tie some more.

First 5 fish to take this bait and PM me get them.

    Smile Not me!

    Panman,

I don't qualify either because I've been known to "roll a few of my own." I just wanted to complement you on your generousity. Very nice thing to do! 8T

    Default Qualifications

I did not mean the qualifications to be mandatory, just preferred, as I like to see kids get into fishing. The offer is open to all members of FAOL.

Panman, I give all my extra flies to little kids. Some of those little kids are in their 30's and 40's but they are still kids up at the lake.

I want to say your doing a great thing here.

So many of the great members here at FAOL have sent me flies, now I am tying and the Great Jack Hise has sent me not one but two care packages of fly tying materials.

The package he sent me today had some deer hair, lama fur for dubbing and a couple dozen size 16 hooks along with a fly he tied using these materials as a pattern.

These are just a couple of examples of what kind of Class Members we have here at FAOL.
Or are all fly fishers this great? I am not sure cause I just started fly fishing in July. I am glad I did and I am very glad I found FAOL.

You know what I will be doing this evening, I am just glad the wife bought me a 3X magnifier with lamp those 16s are awful small for my weak eyes and fat fingers. LOL

Boy I wish I had your problem. I have been tying for 'bout a year now. I have found a dozen or so patterns that work great for me, but I have trouble keeping them "in stock". The ponds I go to demand a very high price for the fly gods.

Oh yeah, I meant to say... It's really great of you to offer this. Two years ago when I started fly fishing I would have really benefited from this. It'll be a great help to a newby or kids that are just learning.
