i would bring a 3-4-5 wt rod. Don't really need anything bigger in Colorado, IMHO. Weather wise, be prepared for anything from 90deg sunshiney day to rain/hail to snow. As far as flies, bring the usual nymphs and dry's and lots of hoppers. We had a rather large crop of hoppers this year, their doing well all over from what I understand.
