    Default Source of pheasant feathers

I know this was here before but it seem that some of the old threads in this forum have dissapeared.
I am looking for a source of pheasant feathers - all kinds of colors and species.

I know you guys have a lot of them.

    Thanks.

Can't remember who it was but two years ago someone sent me a bunch of tail feathers.

The last ebay auction I won was for pheasant skins and I thought I only won 2 of them then the box came in 8 full pelts with the wings. Believe me I used them for trading material and the material swap box.

I buy mine and have Ringneck complete tail and then several dyed ones including tail clump... Black, Brown, Olive, Red, Yellow. I get the complete tail with clump for about $4.50 I think. Ringneck complete tail for about $3.75.

www.hideandfur.com has ringneck skins and tails, and occasionally other pheasant skins and tails and such. Also a good selection of other fur, feathers, etc.

www.anglersworkshop.com carries atlantic salmon tying materials, including amherst, blue-eared, etc. Or at least they did last time I was in there...

    Mickie Finn,

Check the For Sale board. One of the guys has ringneck tails for $2.75 and Ringneck pelts for $2.50. Not a bad deal at all.
