Thread: anyone in SLC, Utah?

  1. Default anyone in SLC, Utah?

I'm headed to SLC for a long weekend to see my lil brother. I'd love to wet a line while there, looks like the Provo is pretty close.

Anyone willing to show a guy around for a few hours? Or recommend a shop and or guide that might do the same? I'd love ot hear from you if so.

    Thanks all.

Having grown up in the area I do not believe that anyone needs to spend the money for a guide to fish the rivers in that area. Some locals may help you with finding particularly good areas to fish, but you can drive along the rivers and pick any likely spot and do well. I was in UT this past weekend and fished for only a few hours, but did well. The rivers I saw are still a little high, but running clear and the fish were cooperating.
