    I believe I will have to get busy with a brush builder. Looks like this Feather-Craft Super Bugger

    and this Orvis Conehead Rubber Bugger

    Would whip up real well with on of those tools.

    I've been using a Dai-Riki #700 Size 2 for these. They are 1x strong and 4x long. Seems to work well.

    They don't have a normal, large gap that bass bugs hooks normally have, but so far I haven't had any complaints!

    There are pike close by me???

    I just moved here from Montana so I'm not familiar, yet, with what is around here.

    If you could would you please let me know where the pike are?
