Port Townsend got nailed pretty good, but we were in Chicago and got home last night. We missed the whole thing except sitting in the airport hearing various Seattle passengers talking about the storm and how hard it was blowing; that gave us a bit of "bridge anxiety" wondering if we were going to be able to cross Hood Canal Bridge. By the time we got to it (10 pm), it was almost flat calm. No real damage in our immediate area because we often have winds in the 40+ category all through fall and winter. Besides the usual wind debris, a trellis in our backyard blew over...a first.
