I found an old fly rod up for an auction on Sat. I was in a hurry and did not get a great look at it. It does look fairly old and looks to be fiberglass. Here are the things I noted on it:

Wright and McGill
Eagle Claw
For 9 wt line
2 piece, 9 foot
Metal joint, silver colored (weird part was the tip section fit into the bottom section, but designed for only about an inch to be fully inserted. I had never seen one with this little inserted)
Two footed snake guides in pretty good condition. Thread wraps with nothing on the thread.
I didn?t look at the reel seat too much. There was an old beat up reel on it. (I didn't look the reel over either. Like I said, I was in a hurry.)

Does this ring any bells for anyone? I am guessing it is a lower end rod from yesteryear, but you never know. Thanks for any input. I?ll try to get by again and study it a little more before the auction.
