The SA Nymph line is a great one, but if you dont need the thick long belly, go for the Headstart. It's not as cheap as a $10 level line, but at $35, its a good value for a slick WF line that kicks over powerfully.

On opening up your casting loop, I recommend doing this not vertically, but horizontally. Making a wider vertical casting arc will often lead to hitting the ground, water, or brush behind you. Making a slightly sidearm back-cast followed by a more vertical forward cast will prevent tangles and still keep your backcast up out of the junk. I do this without thinking now when casting multi-object (fly, shot, or indicator) rigs, weighted or not. It's not a casting stroke that will allow you to achieve the greatest distance or accuracy, but when you're trying to get the rig to a certain spot, lead it through a drift, and not work on knots all day, it works well.

It also reduces the chance of snapping or throwing things off of your leader, as there isn't such a violent change of direction when the cast straightens out. (because it never quite completely does)
