Hello, my name is Jim and I'm a fishaholic! I too can not look at a body of water without sizing it up as for its fishing possibilities. I fish a lot but often I delibretly leave my fishing gear behind to assure myself that I won't neglect a social obligation by running off fishing. Like others have mentioned, I try to keep a good relationship with the wife by making sure we spend quality time together. Some times that means not fishing when I would like to. I flew out to Colorado about a month ago to see my aging mother and although she lives on the edge of Grand Mesa surrounded by great fishing, I did not take my fishing "stuff" . This was to assure myself that I would spend the time with my mother. Perhaps a person not obsessed could have just gone fishing for a short while. I'm not sure I have the will power, but then I know that, so I didn't provide myself the gear to enable the temptation.
