I guess maybe location as well as type was more what I was thinking. I have a scrapbook that has pictures of the places I've fished, liscenses from the different states I've fished in, etc, and was wondering if anyone else did the same. Now that I think of it, a life list of species would be right at home in there as well.

It's been a long time since I lived in Nebraska, but it's nice to know the only thing dryer than the ground in western Nebraska is still the humor in eastern Nebraska. I do miss that
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.

I'm not really a list keeper - If I kept a list I would probably end up with that 'Gotta Catch em All' attitude that annoys the hell out of me.

I will admit to an abnormal interest in cutts, which sometimes involves pulling off the road in random locales and fruitlessly casting to nonexistent fish just because I read somewhere that a species exists in a particular water.

I only keep a mental list of the species that I've caught (still young eniugh to get away with it, I think). I don't think it leads to a gotta catch em all attitude. With me at least, it's a WOW that's something new. It happened again a month ago when I landed a decent sized catfish while fishing for smallies.
