The Connecticut Fly Fisherman?s Association will present a fly fishing program on Wednesday, October 10, 2007

at the Hartford Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place, East Hartford. Please note the change of location for the October meeting only.



The meeting will start at 7pm with announcements, refreshments and fly tying, 7:30 business meeting, 7:45 raffle and the program ?Fly Fishing Salmon in Connecticut? to begin promptly at 8pm.

Jerry Bannock will have a power point presentation of the Kensington Hatchery, salmon photos in the hatchery and examples of fish that have been caught. He will also include information about the different sections of the Shetucket and Naugatuck Rivers along with the types of flies that are productive. Information regarding access and stocking locations on these rivers will also be provided.

Jerry Bannock has been fly fishing in CT for over 35 years. He started teaching fly fishing in 1991, has managed an Orvis Shop and instructed at Orvis Endorsed Fresh and Saltwater Schools since 1998. Now a professional guide and instructor, Jerry runs guided trips and fly fishing schools for individuals and/or small groups.
