I was introduced to flyfishing by my older brother back in my late teens. The time we spent plying the local lakes for bass and bluegills was just plain fun back then. Then life got complicated and the times we got to spend greatly dwindled to nil. Times have changed and also the reasons for taking up flyfishing again. Now I
only flyfish for trout and for totally different reasons. To quote a well known member"trout don't live in ugly places" is one of the nicest reasons. The tranquility and escape from the everyday ratrace is now my reason to spend several hours catching trees and a few trout in God's great creations.
