We set off early for a day on the Elk River. We were headed to the out let streams from a near by Water Cress farm figuring the trout would be stacked up there wating for the bugs being washed in.
There still was some mist on the water when we set out.

Warren picked up a coupe of nice Browns in the fast water around the island in the background.

Herman follows Warren when he fishes the Elk. Warren and I scored 70 trout (just about 9 per hour). We don't know how many Herman got!

Just around the first bend from Tim's Ford Dam. Time for a little wading, the water temp was 52 degrees.
