    Default Tip of the Cape

Spent last week out there. Lots of Schoolie Stripers and Blue fish....LOTS.

Here is a before and after photo from an hour fishing Stripers.

The fly was still taking fish but I felt it needed to be honored for its work. Well actually I tried a bigger fly looking for bigger fish.

pirate joke: What is a pirates favorite fishing place on the cape??

so many jokes of questionable taste are popping into my head

Very funny, None of the jokes that pop into my mind are questionable. They are all in poor taste.

Jed, glad to hear they're hitting on the Cape. Things are still slow here in the western LIS. Hoping that will change when the weather does. We've got TONS of bait in the water.

Very nice to hear this. I am heading down to the cape for columbus day weekend. lookinf forward to my first time fishing since the cape in early June. this will be my 10 week old son's first trip to the cape, and hopefully he'll start to catch the bug...though he may be a bit young

Enjoy the cape. I'm heading out to the Vineyard this weekend for my last saltwater weekend of the year. I expect to see some fish given the reports I've been hearing. After all it is that time of year when true Bass fishermen start walking around with that bleary eyed look from sleepless nights on the water.

May your door knobs smell from fish and your waders never dry.
