    Gary,

Here is something you may want to try to see if it will work on whatever you are using it on. I have used it and it works fine for me, but, that is just me. Your mileage may differ. I picked it up at Wal-Marts one day and gave it a try. 2-3 coats gives a nice deep looking glass-like coating. It came in a large jar that contained 8oz which will probably last me a life time.

Krylon - Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze

Description--Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze lends a bright, clear coating that gives the illusion of depth. Special low odor formula is safe to use and provides easy soap and water clean up in first 15 minutes. Flexible formula won't crack, and provides durable protection and high gloss to many types of surfaces.

Use For: Decoupage, Wood, Papier Mache, Bisque, Metal, Porcelainizing, Collage, Plastic, Artificial Flowers, Paper, Plaster

It is a milky white color in the jar, but, as it dries, it becomes crystal clear.

Check it out if you wish.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

I'll second the use of Flexcoat Lite. All my epoxy flies are finished using Flexcoat Lite while turning on a slow rpm turning wheel. Takes time to cure hard, but certainly makes great clear epoxy heads. I usually epoxy a dozen flies at a time to have consistant heads w/o wasting epoxy. :
