    Default nice old reel

I got this old sweetie from a friend and have enjoyed fishing with it quite a bit. just goes to show that newer is not always better.

Very interesting!! Your friend must have been concerned about losing the reel at one time. (engraved)
    Thanks,

Heh, no idea who "R.M." is or was. Somewhere back down the halls of the past. More patina to the reel eh?

Yes! Did you have to lube it? Did you research online about the reel company?

My buddy who sold it to me had already cleaned it up right nicely (thanks zenkoanhead)

I did some web research, its an old, now departed, reel company that made several levels of quality reels. This was not the high end! Ocean City I believe.
