    Try small cork head poppers,
they work great. Caddis can be skittered
across the top with good results.
What ever you do, don't use anything
that is real small. Pan fish have a habit
of inhaling small flies. You will loose
the fly or kill the fish. I don,t use
    anything smaller than a #12.

I'll second a visit to the warm water board. Those guys know their stuff. That's where I always head when I have a panfish question.

Howdy . I see that you are from Missouri. Trundle on over to the Warm Water Forum. There might be someone in the WW Forum from your area of Missouri that can specifically turn you on to flies that work well there. Since I don't know what kind of water you will be fishing, I can only suggest for bream the same basic flies that would normally be used for trout along with some small size 8 poppers, pushers, and sliders with rubber legs thrown in. Others you might use are Spongy Spiders, Jitterbees, Gill Getters, Bream Killers, Dixie Bugs, Gurgle Pops, Aliens, Hoppers, Muddler Minnows, and so on. Check out Rick's favorite Bluegill and Crappie flies by going to Features on the left menu and then the Panfish section Archives. You might want to scale up the size of your flies, poppers, pushers, and sliders to say 6, 4, and 2 for Bass if the size of fly gear you are using is large enough to handle them. Best of luck.
