My grandson is asking me about an old fly rod he had given to him...and I'm pretty much at a loss...

It is a Garcia #2685C 8' Dry Fly Action...with a line designation C-HCH-HCF 6

I guess it's a glass rod??? I'm thinking 7 wt. ...if so what does the 6 mean?

Any thing you can tell me would be appreciated......
