    Default Favorite synthetic wing material...

I usually stick with natutal materials for wings and tails on streamers. However, their is a sale on all the synthetic materials at the shop I use. Does anyone have any suggestions? They have a pretty big selection and I have no idea where to start.

I'd like to use it for larger streamers imitating baitfish. Maybe for tails on popper paterns. Something that moves well in the water without having to work the fly much. Thanks for all the input guys.

Bunches of the streamer wing materials that are for saltwater are extra stiff and don't move well.
Do they let you touch the material before buying?

It's an online shop, their descriptions are ok, but I have no experience with syntetics. So I was just wondering if people had favorite brands that I could give a try since they are on-sale.

    Oh ok.
Sorry I don't have much experience with materials like that.

Ok I did some research and I found one material that I like, Its called UNIQUE HAIR.
It comes in many colors and their description of it in a catalog is as follows.
" A smaller diameter, softer version of super hair. Perfect for freshwater or saltwater streamer patterns. 11" 1/4ounce hanks. $1.95 "

    Pretty cool looking stuff!!!
    I would definately buy it.

Another you might want to try is the ENRICO PUGSLI E.P. FIIBERS
They look sweeet and if they have many colors I would stock up, They aren't cheap when they aren't on sale.

I was looking in the "THE FLY SHOP" catalog and the E.P. sea fibers are 5.50 a package, 3-D sea fiber 5.95, And the silky is 4.95.

Not as expenisive as I thought I remembered, But still not to cheap.

EP fibres and EP 3D Fibres are $4.25 on sale and Silky and 3D Silky are $3.89. I am on JSFlyFishing.com. Sounds like I'll try a couple colors of both. Thanks for the input.
