if you are fishing in areas that are devoid of trees and other streamside vegatation, why arent fly rods the color of what the fish would actually be seeing?

blue for the sky, shades of white and gray for the clouds etc etc etc.

a waving black stick against a blue sky sure isnt natural to a trout.

just thinking again (that can be a dangerous thing for me )
