These are all great suggestions. If you don't mind driving a bit more (another 50 miles), head to Soldotna. Camp at Centennial Campground. This has wonderful silver fishing from the bank. You can wave a fly rod, soak bait or cast spinners... all will do very well on the silvers.

There are other areas not too far from Soldotna that would be geat as well. The Seward area is another option, however I believe that the main show will be over.

Finally, look at the Mat/Su Valley waters. Again, study the references recommended and you will get an idea of places to go.

Silvers become very spooky after sunrise, so expect some early mornings or late evenings, unless you are fishing tidewater (i.e. Cunningham park in Kenai), then you will want to fish the last of the outgoing tide to the first half of the incoming. You should be able to find tidebooks whereever you can buy fishing licenses.
