i like em.
do they float well? with the hacke so sparse?
Very nice Donald
Sometimes a crowd can be the loneliest place
The Assassine is a bit sparse but that is how it is meant to be. A french pattern if you use floatant it should be ok.
The others have plenty of hackle I think, the Black Gnat can be fished as a wet or dry.
As a matter of fact they could all be fished as wets if you wanted and just call them West Country Wet Flies.
Hi,
Nice. I know some glassy sections of streams where those would do wonders!

Donald,
I'm afraid that all your flies are badly flawed . If you would send me at least half a dozen of each fly, I would be able to critique the flies completely and help you over come the obvious tying problems. Seriously, very nice job. 8T
Donald,
Very nicely tied, as usual. I really like the looks of the Assassine. Like Jeff, I know a few places where those would bring fish up from the depths.

Happiness is wading boots that never have a chance to dry out.
I have added recipes and some info to these flies. They are expanded to two pages, just click on arrow for page 2.
Thank you, Donald. Was wondering about the tying sequence on the Assissine. Very nice fly.

Donald, once again you have posted some beautiful flies for us to ogle. I expect that this has been posted before and that I have forgotten, but what do you use for wax on your silk?
Thanks,
Ed
