I also have a Danvise with an extension arm. The extension seemed small when it arrived, but made a big difference. Much more pleasant to tie with now. More room for the large/long bass flies. I can't say exactly how much more space it adds. I'd go measure it, but I just got back from a three day fishing trip with the kids and I'm just too tired do it.
