The water is a bit high right now. I was at the Contookcook today and it was really blasting. There were a couple rises where the old bridge used to be above the fly section. I went camping with my family last week and we fished the Pemi off of Tripoli rd with a great deal of success. At one point I had three on three casts! The largest was a 15" brookie. The cool weather for the summer thus far has extended the trout season so far. I will be headed to Pittsburh NH next week and let all of ya know how the water and fish are on the upper Connecticut. I have always done well from Stewarts town, Colebrook, and in Pittsburg, but as you all know, weather is everything. New here so if there are any additional questions, please post. It is great to find a web site where we all have the same common addiction.
