Anyone planning on attending the FFF Conclave this summer? It will be in Livingston, Montana from August 11-13th. I'd like to drive over and check out some of the fly tiers. Hopefully some of you might be tying this year.

Anyone planning on attending the FFF Conclave this summer? It will be in Livingston, Montana from August 11-13th. I'd like to drive over and check out some of the fly tiers. Hopefully some of you might be tying this year.
Was planning on going for the whole week, because there are usually some excellent tying workshops offered...and then I found out how much the Federation wants for some of these classes. Fifty bucks for a class WITH a thirty dollar materials fee for a 4 hour class? Who are they kidding? That's more than 3 times the rate at the April East Idaho Fly Tying Expo this year...same class, same tyer.
Now I'm contemplating just spending a day at the Conclave and going fishing instead. I know it is a good cause, but I think the FFF is getting a bit greedy. Spent >$500 there last time, they'll be lucky to get the $20 registration fee this year...
