this fly produces very well for me!

i call it the hen and orange... haha havent tried it yet (this photo is pretty crappy i think for what my cam can do.)

this is really heavily hackled but its a heavy gauge hook so its seems to work out

Those pictures are ok, try various background colours till you find the one that suits you.
I use coloured cards from a stationary store. They are quite cheap and do a perfect job.

I like the flies, I see that the first one, the beadhead, has already been fooling the trout.

yes i havnt bought different background colors yet but i will this week.
and yes that first one has already fooled around 7 trout

Hi flyandtie,

The photos are fine, nice clear images and well lit. As Donald has suggested, try some different colours for the background until you find one you like. I like the flies. Very good thread wraps on the hen and orange.

What are you using for the shellback on the 2nd spider?

the body on the second spider is black krystal flash, about 4 strands, twisted.
i thought it came out pretty good.
