Norm's a great guy and has given some great lectures that have taught me a lot. So he teaches at Salt Lake City? I mis-understood. Thanks for the correction.

I'm sure that when I catch him he's not going to be as big or as golden as I remember. But who cares. He's mine and if I can go out and catch a specific fish then I've certainly obtained the next level of fly fishing skill.

But who's teaching me those skills? I'd like to think that it's me. I'm practicing and getting a bit better each time. But I have the feeling that it's the fish that are teaching me how to fish for them. I only have to pay attention to what they're telling me. Every time they spook at my bad cast, or refuse a fly, or hit a fly and then break it off they're teaching me what they like and dislike.
