After and arduous journey, we have just checked into Gates Lodge #10. A room with a view of the mighty ( well almost) Ausable. Looking forward to meeting with the other attendees and puttin some fish on the fly. Whoever was to unfurl the FAOL banner is remiss in their duty, therefore I will do the honors. Great looking day weatherwise here. Temp in the mid 60s and sunny. Aluminum hatch light and variable ,almost tolerable. Y'all that's a commin, COMMON DOWN.

Just finished the last of the perch for dinner. They had a special for $14.95 for all you could eat, so we helped them clean out the cooler. Julie said she may have some fresh perch by Thursday or Friday. Sorry, JC, you'll have to eat the walleye.

Gotta run, there's fishies to be caught.
