She's long, lanky, and lithe. She's got great moves and she does 'em sloooooooooow. She's 11' tall and green. I bought her from that famous, on-line match-maker, Cabelas. I got one of their traditional rods, a 3 piece, 6-wt, 11 foot long beauty. She arrived yesterday. I felt that she needed to get out, after having been cramped up in that tube. I just happened to have a new reel loaded with Peachy, Cortland 444 DT-6-F. I took her out in the sun and she glistened. She's gonna teach me something about patience, I can tell you that. You just can't get in a hurry with her. You have to think things thru and plan ahead. (She's so soft that you have to factor not just the wind, but the season and global climate change into your casting equation.) We're gonna have to get to know each other, but that's one of the reasons for a honeymoon in the first place. We're going up to Michigan. I hear that the Ausable is lovely this time of year...
