Hi Donald,
Nice! I use possum dubbing a lot here, and it's great stuff. I really like the look of that light blue thread too, looks really good as both the head and the tag. I bet that Flymph will produce really well as it's got that buggy look.

i like it i just gotta order me some light blue uni thread!!!
Donald,
Nicely dressed. Did you pretie the body or dub it on the fly? I like the thread showing at the tag. Hidy would have approved.

Donald,
Very nice looking flymph! Between flymphs and wets I may never need another pattern!!!

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
WarrenP,
I'm guessing Donald has infected you with the wet fly syndrome too. He got me last year, hook, line and tippet. Dang, I'm even buying books from England now. I'm not complaining, mind you, I'm bragging.
Thanks Donald.

Donald, I thank you as well!!

Sometimes a crowd can be the loneliest place
I like the look of flymphs and wets and tying them but have yet to catch anything on them, still trying is fun.
Cheers
Here are three more I did at the same time, none of them would win any competitions,
but that is not why they were tied. http://www.dtnicolson.dial.pipex.com/page172.html
The Greenwell has been seen before but the others were 'thrown togther' with what came to hand.
They should all catch fish. I think flymphs can be very successful on still-water as well as streams.
I have the Leisenring & Hidy book, and it is a superb book,
but I think the best general purpose book for flymphs in particular is -
Dave Hughes:- Wet Flies. - 1995
There is all that is needed for wet flies in this book. Highly recommended.
p.s. Ron, I dubbed straight on to the thread, the pre-prepared dubbing threads are a good idea,
but I dressed these on the spur of the moment, while watching the Wimbledon Tennis on TV.
