Sage Rods

Anyone familar with Sage GFL-590-4DS rod? I have the opportunity to purchase this rod but am unfamilar with it.

The "GFL" says to me it is a early DS (discovery series) Sage rod. The DS series was their entry level rod at the time. I've not cast your particular rod but I have cast other DS rods. Somewhat softish as I recall. The DS2 that superceded it was a bit faster. The 4 pc should make it good to pack.

jerry you are right on the money, they make very good rods to have and a pleasure to cast
