I got some great looking flies in. We have about half the flies in the box waiting for the others. I got word from Treelines (neighbor) and Minnow that their flies will be finished by the weekend.

Does anyone know about Ladyflyfisher? Is she still playing in the swaps?

I'm going to make a command decision....
If you can tie up couple sets of flies and get them to me by the deadline, I'll drop Ladyflyfisher. I've sent a PM a week ago, and she hasn't responded. I know things happen--and that's perfectly understandable--but I don't want someone who wanted to be in the Equinox swap to feel left out if they missed the sign up.

I got some great looking Fall flies from Montana (Mark Killam) that everyone will enjoy using.
Mark, thank you for the extras. I like that blonde hackle feathers. They're a beauty.

We almost have a full box. If Ladyflyfisherdoes not respond, and if no one else wants her spot, I'll tie up something that could be a general September fly. That way, everyone gets a full set as promised. Smile

Diane, glad you liked the hackle. Those are Conranch's "Chilli Pepper or new depending on how you refer to it " hackle. I got a full skin and have tied a lot of really nice flies with it.

Hi Luke,
Your flies arrived on Saturday. I have no idea why it took so long. The postmark is 11 Sep. Maybe it was the Pony Express in town here. Who knows.

Anyway, the flies look great. Thanks for the extra. I think I'll sneak down to the river before the games today and try it out.

Everyone--my target date, if possible, is to get your flies back to you with the Thursday mail. We're waiting on one more set. It appears that LadyFly has decided to drop FlyAnglersOnLine for one reason or another.

Hi, everyone,
I need some input. I'd really like to get these flies off to you Thurs (tomorrow) or Friday, because the Fall Equinox is on Sunday. However, I'm still waiting on a set of flies. No, it's not the one I deleted because she never read her PMs.

What shall we do? Shall we wait a few days to see if the other set comes in? Go with the 12 sets we have, and I'll just return the two extra everyone tied?
I'll go with the majority of what ever everyone wants. Just let me know.
