Yes, it was a breath-taking race. It had us all at the edge of the seats when the two horses were trading places by half a head every 2 seconds. The Belmont is a hard race for any horse, but it looked like she could take another turn and still have wind.
She was born to take this race though. Her granddad was Seattle Slew and her great-granddad was Secretariat. Both were fantastic distance runners.

Don't overlook the rest-period before the race and the weight carried.

Don't all horses carry the same weight? I know that is stated on some big races around here.
