Bamboozle, that is wonderful. I am proud to be your apprentice. I will report back when my rod collection grows to a dozen-- currently at 5, but we're doing a remodel that will require lots of carpet tubes!

Bamboozle, after reading your instructions I do beleive...

I dunno about all this. Last night VEE, my darling wife, was looking for something in the "Furs" box at my tying bench. She was digging through hare's masks of various colors, arctic and red fox faces, assorted tails and stacks of deer, moose antelope and bear furs. Her only comment was that we needed more of the natural mole fur.
Of course this is the same woman who loves her bamboo rods, Lamson reels, ties Atlantic Salmon flies as well as trout flies, and outfishes me every time.
Oh yeah, she knows exactly what stuff costs because she usually does the shopping for us both.
Ain't life grand.

Happiness is wading boots that never have a chance to dry out.

I brought home a hares mask, cut the ears off and stowed them away out of sight . When my little parsnip flower asked what that awefull thing was I said it was a woodchuck that a car had run over. The fact that I said I got it for free seemed to make it all right.
For God's sake, Don't Quote me! I'm Probably making this crap up!
