I dunno about all this. Last night VEE, my darling wife, was looking for something in the "Furs" box at my tying bench. She was digging through hare's masks of various colors, arctic and red fox faces, assorted tails and stacks of deer, moose antelope and bear furs. Her only comment was that we needed more of the natural mole fur.

Of course this is the same woman who loves her bamboo rods, Lamson reels, ties Atlantic Salmon flies as well as trout flies, and outfishes me every time.

Oh yeah, she knows exactly what stuff costs because she usually does the shopping for us both.

Ain't life grand.

Amen to Ray Kunz #2 is my favorite. Fod Gods sake dont be a p*ss get the d*mn mask and tie with it and then just tell her you were looking for a wife when you found her. If she is anything like most good women I know they will just be ****** for about 10 minutes and then remind you of the d*mn thing 3 years later in some stupid argument about nothing at all. If she loves you like she should she'll b*tch about it for a little and then move on to something else to b*tch about.

I brought home a hares mask, cut the ears off and stowed them away out of sight . When my little parsnip flower asked what that awefull thing was I said it was a woodchuck that a car had run over. The fact that I said I got it for free seemed to make it all right.
