Gardenfish sounds like you have a wife that supports you and that's good from here. Road kill is fine as long as when it was hit and when you collect it, the temp (in my book) has been at least 32 or below, from the time it was hit, until you get it. If the temp has gone up any at all or I'm not sure when it went down, I don't touch it... Oh and gloves are a plus for just incase, anything else borax will kill,borax will suck the life outa anything...
