Does anyone have an extra hares mask that they would be willing to sell or trade for? I have many different materials to trade, but would be glad to pay cash and shipping.[/size]

why not just order them from a catalog loike anglers workshop or kauffmans streamborn?
or your local fly shop
???
I kinda have a hare's mask, but I use a tweezers for a better look. Don't tell anyone.

Thanks for the obvious information guys! the nearest fly shop is 100 miles away and with gas at $3.30 a galon that would be an expensive bunny ! I was hoping for a materials trade. Mail order companies charge exhorbitant s&h fees . Sooo if someone legitimately wnts to help me, please pm me

I bought a Hareline Hare's Mask about a year ago. I think I may have tied one fly with it and it and I doubt if I will have much use for it. I paid 3 bucks for it. If you want it I will send it to you and you can send me a check for the 3 bucks plus the actual postage.
PM me if you want to go this route.
Tim
Check your post for this on the "Things Wanted" board. If I have one, I will send it to you. All I need is a mailing address.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
100 miles, I feel your pain. all that water and no fly shop.
I used to live in Ely Nv. 4 hour drive each way to any shoping. learned to mail order or go with out.
As far as the cost of shipping perhaps a local fly fishing club, or a few of your friends could go together to put in a monthly order to distribute the cost of shipping among many. I have done this with a gun club and a toastmasters club that I have been members of, it just takes someone to put it together. If there is no club this is a good reason to start one.
Good luck

Cant help with the Hares mask but I came up with a thought when I read your post.
100 miles out means you have the advantage of "No Crowds".
There is that to be thankful for.
I too feel your pain.
Im 12 miles from Cabellas and 200 miles from any thing like a trout!!!(at 3.45 a gallon in a Ford F-150 Vguzzler)
Best wishes
I bought a Hare's mask off of ebay a couple of years ago. It came out to under $10 with the shipping. Suffice it to say, I haven't used a hyde, nor hare of the thing! lol, that was funny, no?
