    Default measuring ferralls

    the information is for three piece rods. so i can get the right ferralls to replace them since there aren't any on the rod. I got it from a friend and he took it apart to restore and now I havn't a clue the size I need help!!!!!!! thanks Walter

    Best way I found to size them is with a drill index(?). It is a flat piece of steel with holes in it, each one listing its drill size next to it. Put the cane into the tightest hole you can and that is the size you want to buy a ferrule for. If the butt and tip are different diameters you can build up the smaller size with thread.
