Deanna,
I enjoyed reading your article! I noticed something that struck me as funny or unusual.
The line; "My late husband(he isn't dead, he was just always late)"
You know I really appreciate when someone is creative with their writing!
My worst wader story was in the early 70's when we stopped at Mike Lawson's Shop and I got my new wife the whole shootin match, waders, rod/reel......
Deanna, remember how HEAVY those d-m waders used to be? My wife and I went fishing on the Warm River and sticking to my usual behavior, we hiked and waded down river fishing and I had the bright idea of climbing up the river bank at the end of the day and walking the old railroad tracks back to the truck. My poor wife was completely exhausted by the time we got back. Those old heavy waders almost did her in!
It's hard to believe I didn't start my own Flyfishing Boot Camp!
