    If you can effectivly hold 40' of line in the air with enough line speed to shoot line then you are ready for the double haul.

    Then the transition to the rod and line is easy.

    Begin your hauling morion as you 'flip the tip' at rotation, and remember downup!

    If you've seen Jerry in action than you know that he "does know" how to DH , and I believe that he can keep 40' of line up in the air without a DH (havent seen him fish so dont know about the sneeky part ).
    So if he figures you dont need it , you dont need it.
    Did'nt happen and it aint going to .
    Dont even think it.

    Its a must on many of our more exposed 'big fish' rivers here in the south island. The predominant wind is from the NW and mate, it sure lets you know it!!!

    Line speed and accuracy demand the Double Haul
