At 59 I have been wearing bifocals for about 20 years. I decided I didn't really want to spend the money to have prescription sunglasses made, in addition to my regular glasses. It was, however, becoming a real hassle having to change back and forth on the stream. When I first heard about Fit-Overs I thought "too good to be true", but for $40.00 I thought I could give them a try. Great investment. Very light frames, no distortion. Down side: Looked like Roy Orbison on a really bad day. The Fit Overs had the brown lens which I have found best for all around use. I later purchased a pair of Cocoons with yellow lens for overcast days or fishing predominantly shady areas. I have also tried polarized clip-ons provided by my optometrist. The clip-ons were not a good option. The Fit-Overs and the Coccons offered distortion free vision even though I really look like a dork in them. With these glasses slipped on over my regular bifocals, I enjoy the best of both worlds.
