I was browsing the Orvis web site last night and came across a new fly they had listed in their "Hot New Fly" section called the Noble Chernobyl. It looks like a regular Chernobyl Ant with everything but the kitchen sink attached. It's got rubber legs, elk hair for the tail, a folded piece of foam for a wing and a parachute post forward for a good wrap of grizzly hackle. I laughed myself silly as I was looking over the tying instruction (very complete step by step photo's) as they kept adding more and more stuff. The finished fly looked like a miniature WWII destroyer that had been converted into a floating carnival . Then they showed the underside and it was a whole different story. It had one of the best hopper profiles I've ever seen. Take a look and tell me what you think.

I'm definitely tying a couple. Apparently it's been around a couple of years but it's new to me. 8T
