TiCrX is faster action than the TiCr. Some folks have trouble adjusting to the faster action of these rods. The folks who don't have trouble adjusting tend to really love them. The TiCrX was designed to be a casting rocket and it IS. I love mine.
i casted a tfo 8wt ticrX and casted beautifully for me as i have a faster casting stroke
I have a TFO, Ticr 6wt. and love the rod. I have used it for one year only and would recommend this rod
You'll actually want to wiggle both. I've cast every rod in the line, and some of the TicrX rods actually feel a touch softer than some of the Ticr series.
I have a Professional series as I prefer a softer rod, and I can roll cast two small nymphs and an indicator 70 feet with it. Great rod for the money.

I like the TFO TicrX, and have it in a 9' 6wt. It's really fast, which is kind of hard in the summer, because I also like to fish cane as much as possible. It's really a cannon and can shoot some serious line. The only problem I have had with (and have heard from a few others) is that their ferrules twist fairly easily. I have had the tip section go shooting off a few times.
