Custom rod builder for fiberglass?
Anyone have any reccomendations for a custom rod builder for a fiberglass fly rod...I know about the high end people (Steffen Bros, McFarland etc), but I am just looking for someone who can do a good job customizing a regular blank. Thanks for the reccomendations!

I'm not sure if he is still building rods full time but a couple of years ago I had Michael Callery (http://www.troutstix.com) build me a rod. I liked it so much I purchased a second rod from him from the classified section of this site. The website may not be working anymore so if you need an email address let me know and I can check and see if I still have it. His work is very nice and a great value.

bite the bullet and order from Steffen or McFarland...you can't go wrong with either...
