Fished the North Fork of The Cache La Pourde river yesterday Beautiful weather ,temp in the 50s, light variable wind. Fished with two buddies from home for about 3 1/2 hours. We each caught about two fish, I caught a 14" broWn, beautifully colored on a black wooly worm. A hatch of light blue dun mayflies about one oclock brought some rising fish, but I couldn't raise any, I think they were taking emergers under the surface, but they didn't like my offerings. I snagged and broke off my leader ( first and last time I ever use a braided loop on the end of my flyline, the darn thing broke right in the middle!) I replaced the leader with a castwell knot and resumed fishing in about tree minutes, it worked great!!!!!! THANKS JC
