    can you buy the hooks like that, or should you bend them like in Betty's hummingbird pattern? if so, wouldn't that weaken the hook?

    I tried bending a bunch of the dai riki 700 but I broke a lot of them.....I ordered the 700b which are pre bent...

    it's not suppose to represent a fly......it's suppose to represent a baitfish......like a minnow....
